Hello;

My name is Art Powers. I am a special education transitions teacher for grades 7-12 and the head wrestling coach at Colfax Junior and Senior High School.  I have 33 years of experience coaching wrestling and teaching in special education for grades K-12. In the resource room setting I teach a variety of courses including; Math Skills, English Skills, Skills Lab, Credit Recovery and others.

I was raised in Pullman Washington with my five brothers and sisters, graduated from Pullman High School in 1981. I was recruited by and wrestled for WSU from 1981 to 1984. In 1989 I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Washington State University and a Masters of Special Education from Grand Canyon University in 2011. I currently live in Pullman with my wife and son.
